![]() ![]() However at meal times, the background music selection in the dining area was focused mainly on the younger generation, rather than to many of the older customers that were present. The evening entertainment was good and varied. Two meals in particular, one of Duck and another of Tender loin of Pork, were overcooked and too tough to eat. Dinner was from an A la carte menu and was disappointing at times. This usually consisted of only one hot pudding, fruit and a selection of small cakes. However at lunch some of the meat dishes were often overcooked and the selection on the sweet trolley were very limited. The standard of food was generally very good for self-service breakfast and lunch. ![]() The spacious dining room with sea views also had very high standards of friendly customer service. The beach bar and lounge bars provided us with excellent helpful customer service and an amazing selection of cocktails, spirits and Banks draft beer. The gardens surrounding the pools looked stunning. Baggage assistance to our lovely spacious ground floor bedroom (160) was very good, including help with the safe programming. Check in was friendly and professional, although our welcome envelop did not have a welcoming letter, just an excursion leaflet but this was later rectified. ![]() The Club Barbados made our arrival very welcome with a rum punch. It’s set in a great location close to Holetown, and with lovely views of the Caribbean Sea. First impressions are always an indicator of a good hotel for us. ![]()
